I can not stress the value of a stable web hosting service.  Having just been at the receiving end of a castrophic failure at one of our web hosting companies, I can speak from experience. 

We were off the air for a week.  No webpages, no functioning company email addresses,  and the worse part – no communication with our customers. 

We realize glitches do happen and the occasional small outage here and there is okay.  We are forgiving people….but an entire week?  Where was the redundacy?  The backup systems?  The Support?  We didn’t hear from the web hosting company for three days.  (the outage happened at 5 pm Friday night…of course!).

There are at least four things to look for when purchasing a web hosting service for your affiliate marketing business.

• Reliability – you want to make sure your servers are fast, and ONLINE
  for pretty much 99.9% of the time
• Customer Service – when and if you have any problems, you want your
  issues dealt with promptly and completed on a professional level
• Reputation - this one is not as high as we’ve heard of new startup
  hosting companies that offer amazing deals that are awesome. Although
  if you want to lean towards reliability you definitely want a host
  that has proven that it can provide the services you are actually
  paying for.
•  Quality of Service – whether the web hoster is providing the services they are actually listing or just overselling their servers

Price is important too but not the main criteria. 

Go for Quality and both Your Affiliate Marketing Business AND Your Valued Customers will benefit!
